Just reload it. It happens to me every once in a while.

Did you ever finish updating java?

End your Java process, reload it. If it still happens it May be that your computer is not properly connecting to the update server. OR The update server is down.

You could try using the downloadable client. It might help, but I am just throwing stuff out there right now since I don't completely understand it either.

Well when I switched from one to the other it went way down. Just my situation though, not every single one is the same.

After Some Time It Will Be Gone
