Some banners i have made

These are some Worldscape banners I have made. I haven't had Gimp for that long though.

Constructive critism please.

I don't particularly like either one since they are the same other than the shadow, but if I had to choose one it'd be the first one.

Uhh you should add stars or something.

I prefer the second one. Easier on the eyes.
However, they're both kind of plain.

I am making some more detailed ones but keep in mind, I made those two in about 2 minutes so.. I might be editing and making them better.

Because at first it was a black shadow and then I was just experiencing with some things to wee if i could make it any cooler, so I changed the shadow to just about the same color as the text and I couldn't decide which was better.. I am going to make some more tomorrow that don't have the transparent banner. ( I know I would've cropped the current ones but I made them fast and well.. Sloppy. BETTER ones on the way, no worries.

oh yeah, i use the NORMAL theme all the time, just because i'm most use to it.

because "worldscape" looks good in blue, and I'm not going to make a banner that's bright yellow on a BLUE forum background...

it depends on the theme. I see the "play now" and those banners are like a light blue/cyan so i'm kind of going off that.
