How to do symbols.
Requirements: must have a regular keyboard with the numbers on the far right (someone please post if there is another way)
1. Have Num Lock on.
2. Press the Alt Button.
3. Press the required keys on the post that has the numbers.

I know how to do: ½, ·.·, =Þ, and that kind of stuff. Could someone please post the codes and the symbols?
Example:

½ = 01981

They have to be on a Macintosh computer... the brackets make an apple I'm pretty sure. [ ]

What...? Just hold down ALT then type 01981 in the number pad and the symbol appears.

Tehstrshow told me that that is how you do it for an Apple to appear....

it's easy, you hold the alt button, then hit numbers, then let go of the alt button. :D
