Post by: Voltimolt on June 07, 2010, 07:23:40 AM
This is a random question i would really want to know.

When travelling overseas, (i would like to go to new zealand), i want to take my laptop with me, but problem is are they going to check it?

I know they x-ray em, but do they scan the harddrives, (i would realy want to know the the internet history) do they check the internet history

please i would love to know.

I Am Really Not Sure, But You Can Always Delete It.
I Highly Doubt They Check It Because Many People Take Laptops.
They Might Check To Be Sure It Is A Laptop.
But If You Get Caught With Something Suspicious In Your Bag They May Check It.

Delete a hard-drive? >.> You would be screwed if you did that. Unless you have a backup one... which they would probably check -.- But no they really don't check your hard-drive. They just make sure it's not a bomb and let you go.

i mean, like do they check if your a pedophile or a terriest? i understand u have to turn it on, i know all that
but
i jsut dont want them going through my laptop

deleting them wont work.

i've been watching alota cops shows, and it actually says they can still view the images, programs, movies you've deleted. permantly.
