No one (not even the owners) has an idea why the doors won't work.
I've heard of an idea of just removing them altogether.

As for the party room, just talk to the Knight outside and he'll let you in.

If you want to get through doors and such just do //walkthroughwalls
and walk through the door.

If you played other RS2 Private Servers, you'll notice the same thing.
Im unsure why they wont work either, but I dont find it much a problem.

Doors and gates will automatically be there. Ryan didn't add them in manually himself. It was all in the client from the start. They probably don't work because, kind of like you said, it's pointless unless there's a certain part of the game that's used that requires a door or gate to work to get there.

I'm pretty sure they know why, unless they just supposed to work. Ryan can easily make them work though by programming them to. He would have to make each and every door work one by one though, unless the door is the same id as another door. It's unneeded and unnecessary though because like I said above, they're pointless and wouldn't be needed to get anywhere.

EDIT: And I just realized this after making my post that this topic is from March and is an old topic. Topic Locked.
