Hey, i saw a post..but it was lock cause some rule breaking...just wonder'in, Whats the difference between the PhPbb and the SMF.... For the current layout..it was something my junior highschool had use..meaning the school had there own fourms(and i was a admin ;D)
But whats the real difference, is like one better than the other?, and in what ways?
I like SMF better because it has more features that Phpbb, and Phpbb requires Php which takes to long to install.
When you say install..you mean on the computer as like a file..but then it won't be better cause then everything is back up on the computer..cause i had that on the Phpbb fourm.. So the MySQL..thats where all the info for the server is stored and the website?
Unless you use something like topicboard.net (http://topicboard.net) you need to install Php on your computer and a HTML server or something like that :-\
