Since you edited your post 12 seconds before I entered mine I'll sucumb to yours...

Also, in a tournament fairness is not a determinator of who plays who. In fact, the least fair thing is usually going to happen. The one and two seeds will get a bye round. Then the three plays the ten, the four plays the nine, the five plays the eight, and the six plays the seven.
