Hacked the school laptops!

Anyone in NSW, in year 9 gets free laptops with large amount of strict security.
I bypassed this in 2 minutes when I used my cousins laptop as a test subject.

This method cannot be patched or the IT can't remove restrictions to my bypass, once you bypass, its forever.

School computers were never an issue to get around.

Are they at least decent laptops? Do they get to keep them after the year? o.0

Insomnom, when you're dealing with DET.
Its really hard to get around it.

They're pretty Decent. They keep them after they finish year 12.

They put a BIOS password and tamperproof screws and sticker on the bottom, with a so called trigger if I open it.
I haven't removed either.

@Mute, i think they have put internet restrictions on it. Say, you HAVE to be connected to this to do this etc...

I love thinkpad  ::), do you possibly plan on buying a supercomputer when your older for "3477"?  ::).

You can't buy one. You have to build one for yourself.
a supercomputer is a combination of more then 2 computers sharing their specs.
Some people can build a PS3 Supercomputer.


apparently this is 1700 ps3 combined.

I guess what your trying to say it building a powerful computer, then yeah. Hopefully the 12 Cores comes out.
Added on with a 64-bit  OS, and 32gb RAM. or 64gb.

I'd like a Thinkpad too, but this laptop you wouldn't want.
It does last 5 hours and 30 minutes which is pretty good.

Secure links are also an firewall on our network. So theres no bypassing that.
and i also had the idea of the the secure protocol would bypass it but i wouldn't.
