The IRC was popular when it was working, but then it broke and never got fixed.

Yes but, if you look on the top right there is a minimize button, if they don't want it then they should minimize it.

I already asked Ryan about something like that, but he's updating the forums to 2.0 RC5 soon, which has almost no addons right now.

I support this a little bit, but i really don`t see the purpose for it. I doubt anyone is going to be using it. Very good suggestion though. =)

It's already at 2.0 RC3, he's updating it to RC5.
