IRC CHAT FINALLY UP AGAIN!

With the help of JR (Ry's friend) we were able to establish the IRC Server again. I'm hosting the Server so hopefully my computer never dies. :p

Chatting on the IRC is a great way to get to know Ry and myself and to get in on some of the more important (behind the scenes) conversations between the Staff.

If you really want to voice an opinion, or just meet some new people, join the IRC! http://www.worldscapeblitz.com/blitz/custom/?action=irc

Once joined, you need to type the below:

/msg NickServ register password email

Replace PASSWORD with a password of your choice. Replace EMAIL with your email address.

Once you've done that, type /msg NickServ IDENTIFY password.

Where it says password type the password you used to register your nick with.

After that, all you have to do is type /msg NickServ IDENTIFY password    whenever you join and you can chat away! : )

Yes! Finally it's back up! I've been waiting for a long time for it to get back up and running! YAY! I'm soo happy! Does that mean you need IRC mods though?

I'd like to suggest that people download invision, i currently have invision 3.1.0, you can do more things then on the irc that Jeremy put the link too.

The IRC is staying. There won't be any switches.

Smf is FREE, Invision is NOT FREE.

Think on that.

There's also another great free forum software called MyBB; it's what I use to power my site and it runs fast and all that jazz. Here's a link if you're interested :)

Jeremy and Ryan had future plans for switching forums, but it won't be with MyBB. I'm not sure if those plans are still going to happen though.
