Life, what can I say?
It's filled with strife,
But that's life.

What would life be without hard choices,
Friends leaving, and divorces?

Friends stay,
Friends change,
What makes a good friend anyway?

Friends come,
Friends go,
Sometimes you just have to let them get in your way,
Even if it's not gonna go your way.

What would life be without hard choices,
Another game,
For us to play?

I think not,
Life is tough,
Life is rough,
Though sometimes it might have pleasant stuff.

Strife,
Life,
They go hand in hand.

But why?
Is this a game by someone,
Someone who has a guiding hand?

You meet someone dear,
Someone you would like to be near,
But you can't,
Due to strife,
Due to life.

There's always an obstacle,
From those you're close to and those you're not,
Why're you an obstacle,
When you should be not?

But that's life,
It goes hand in hand with strife,
Her actions can cut like a knife,
But that's life.

Life,
Strife,
Two words that mean basically the same,
When you're definitely not the same.

You're a mixed blessing,
Your presence is definitely pressing,
You can be stressing,
I'm so close to confessing.

But that's life,
Life isn't life if it's not filled with strife,
So I'm gonna try my best,
To make the best out of my life.
