I seem to recall, that the forums were like this pre-blitz.  Also, one could potentially regard this as an "Update", that we've been wanting since forever.

You can still click the "Show unread posts since last visit" button in the top right so find the new replies. And yes, it was like this a while ago, though I'm not sure how long ago it was.

It was like this before worldscape crashed due to blitz. Back when worldscape was popular.
I like it, plus you can still use unread posts since last visit button !

Yeah, I always hated that "portal". It was replaced with the new homepage.

Aww, but I liked seeing the most recent updates like a feed. Do you think you could add a similar feed to the new homepage? :D

If you guys can find any SMF mods that are compatible with our version I could install them; we also removed the portal because it had some security issues. :-X

How about SMF articles? You could add an articles page and post updates there. Should work with SMF 2.0.4.

I liked the forum as it was, but there was something i would suggest that you added a live chatting board on top of the site like they have on http://www.rune-server.org/forum.php (you need to be ligged in to see it)

I think he means a shoutbox or an IRC chat. Most likely a shoutbox.
