508 HD client wont open

the HD client opens to downloads and when it finishes the window never pops up but the LD works fine

Try re downloading the client...... if you haven't

Like what mike said, Try that and if that doesn't work contact a staff member and see if they can assist you, It's working fine for me :p

If you are using a 64 bit operating system my best guess is you are using a 64 bit version of java which can be the cause of it not wanting to load.

Try replacing the run.bat of the 508 client to this:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -jar -Xmx256M java\WorldScape_508_HD_Client.jar
pause

Or either

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -jar -Xmx256M java\WorldScape_508_HD_Client.jar
pause

Doing that will make the client run the 64 bit version of java with the client and allows it to run properly. I am hoping that fixes your problem, if not there are a few more tricks of my sleeves. :D
