WorldScape 508 Beta

I'm am very pleased to announce that as of tonight, we are launching a low-detail beta of a 508-revision based WorldScape client!!! 8)

We cannot describe how significant this moment is for us. As of now, WorldScape is the FIRST, and ONLY, public multi-version 317/508 server in existence. Players will be able to connect to the game worlds with either our 317 client or the new 508 low detail based beta client.





Now let me remind you that this is only a Beta, as there are many many game functions that do not yet work correctly or at all while using the 508 client. There are also many areas of the map that are unreachable due to missing mapdata. However, we intend to fix as many of the issues as possible so that the 508 game content can be equal in functionality to the 317 game content, and any new content we add to the game will function on both client revisions. :) We are also working on an HD version of the client, which includes a resizable screen and possibly fullscreen support! :o



But for now, we would like to present you with a download link to the LD 508 Beta client (it will automatically download the cache), which has the IP and Port defaulting to World 1.

Also, if you happen to get your character stuck in an area with no MapData (the client will crash on login), here is a link to move your character to Lumbridge, although you must be offline for this to work!

- Fixed a bug with the Easter Eggs from a past event. (7929)
- Added ::deleteallfriends.
- Fixed the remove options on items in trade.
- Added the item on npc packet, so Bob will now repair your barrows armor!
- Added the item option three packet, so GodSwords can now be dismantled.

make sure you go to the windows folder if you are using windows..and click the java thingy and let it load the cache..it takes pretty long..
