People view things differently, all equal to our own opinion.

Most of all, most Grammar Nazi's such as I only just like to have a bit of fun.

We mean no harm in it at all.

But I understand the concept of where you all are getting at.

But all in the same matter, "Grammar Nazi" is just a term used for someone that uses strict grammar when posting on forums.

I agree with both of you. It's pretty offensive how the banner is "promoting" grammar nazi's, that's probably why people aren't very fond of you. Brianc had a good point to when he said they're just having a little fun, Well their version of fun.

I don't really get offended by this because It's just a little picture and a group of people who claim to have "perfect" grammar. If one of them correct you just think - no one is perfect, not even the guy that corrected you.

Not to side with anyone, but if you're just a group of people who use proper grammar, why can't you guys just use another name, like "The Ultimate Proper Grammar Squad Club" or something like it. I understand you guys just want to have a little fun, but the Holocaust wasn't a funny thing. Millions of jews died for nothing. In my opinion, I would use another name that doesn't include "Nazi."  :-\

I think it's the wording underneath the "Grammar Nazi" that sets people off. They just bring up the fact that Nazi is offensive to get it off the forums, I'm thinking.

Nazi was just a name for Hitler's soldiers. They didn't create their name intending to be offensive. They just wanted to be world power. I think that's what you were asking anyway...
