Right, I've tried to re-install the OS, and all I've gotten is disk errors, so I think that whatever was done to my mac whilst the screen was in repair did something.

Gonna try again in about 10 mins though, and I'll let you know how I get on.

If it doesn't work, you can always b*tch at the people who you took your laptop into.
